Can anyone recommend a TiVo substitute that will work with Directv Satellite service?

I’m finally getting rid of my TiVo. I loved it immensely but as a gift for Christmas last year I got free DirecTV HD satellite service. While I can get the TiVo SD to record things it has limited functionality now. Since I’m at the end of my contract I’m getting rid of it.
Can anyone recommend a replacement for TiVo that will work with satellite and let me schedule and record programs in HD besides the DirecTV model HD DVR?
