Does anybody have TimeWarner cable service and own an HD Tivo Box? Is it worth the investment?

I have the Time Warner DVR service which *****. I am thinking of getting an HD Tivo Box. Does it work right out of the box, meaning, once u have the tivo service, can you just plug and play. Or does it require additional Time warner setup?. Basically, is it worth the upgrade or will it be a hassle?
