I want to add 2 more tv’s to my service but dont want to pay $200 for the dish dvr. I have a direct tv tivo reciever from when i had Direct TV, will it work with dish Network Service?

I have Dish network and we signed up for the whole HDTV DVR thing.BUT they decided the day they came out they did not have any DVR’s in their truck and my fiancee wants to record her shows during the day.So I was thinking about buying Tivo but do not know about it.Once you buy it what charges are there or does it even work for Dish Network and out reciever?I need all the information I can get please.
