    This happens when the Hard Drive is slowing down and badly fragmented. You can resolve it by installing a fresh HDD. Go to 9thtee (dot )com or other replacement drive sites. Your system has to access the menu guides and data from the drive, and it’s just slowed to a crawl. Been there, done that, and all better now with faster drive.

    Same here on series 2 Tivo – how do we fix this?
