Can you watch the movies in your mac’s itunes library from your network connected tivo series 3?

I want to get a tivo and an apple tv but I don’t want to purchase or rent movies through the apple tv. I just want to use it to watch my movie library on my tv. Can I do that with the tivo or do I need both?

    You can download many free videos on the movie download sites listed on the following page:
    There is a step by step guide about downloading free videos from limewire, youtube, etc to iTunes for iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, etc. It is easy-to-use and the converting speed is fast.
