Bought a Tivo from someone who didn’t have the remote, found a universal remote that controls it pretty well at Meijers (RCA 6 in 1). Problem is that the Tivo still thinks it’s in a different zip code and I have a cable box that they didn’t have.

When I finally found the guide set up screen it requires three thumbs down presses to continue set up. The universal remote doesn’t have that button.

Is there a way around that so I can configure the Tivo?
