New Bluetooth and Wireless Technology Has the Potential to Change the Face of Advertising

Valley Stream, NY – August 18, 2008 – In our world of ever-changing technology, we are constantly bombarded by names like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and TIVO. Our nation is one of  consistently evolving electronics and in the rush to move forward, some get left behind.  One such trailing entity is the advertising industry. The increasing inclusion of TIVO and DVR’s in American households is causing some consternation among marketing executives. Ace Marketing & Promotions may have the solution to the advertising industry’s current conundrum.

The problem lies with the inability of companies to continue advertising their products or services through traditional means, such as television and radio. Digital recording devices allow home consumers to skip past commercials, which, as you can imagine, creates a problem for those who advertise through those same commercials. A similar issue took root with radio several years ago as more and more stations were made available. Now, listeners only have to press a button to move on to another station, sans advertisement.

Ace Marketing & Promotions, out of Valley Stream, New York and publicly traded under the symbol AMKT, have developed an amazing system that could answer some of these rising concerns. The Blue Bite proximity marketing system utilizes Bluetooth and wireless technology to market directly to consumer’s phones, laptops, and PDAs.  The system works with over 950 mobile devices, from virtually every manufacturer, which guarantees the largest possible audience.  It supports all of the most popular models, including the Apple iPhone, the Blackberry Pearl, and the Palm Treo.

The Blue Bite system allows the company to send information, such as images, video, and audio, directly to consumer’s electronic devices that come within range of the broadcasting unit.  One of the many benefits is that, because it is transmitted via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and not over a wireless telephone network, it is completely free to the consumer. Additionally, the Blue Bite proximity marketing system is FCC compliant and not considered spam advertising. They will simply receive a text, video, or audio message with the client’s advertisement or marketing offer.

Just imagine going to a concert and your favorite band or artist tells you how much they appreciate you, their fan, and that you will be receiving something special from them on your mobile phone. Seconds later, you receive a message describing how to download a free wallpaper or song from your favorite band. Maybe you’re walking down the street in New York’s Time Square and you notice a billboard for a new television show. Seconds later, your cell phone receives a message letting you know that there is a free 15-second preview of that show available to watch on your mobile device. The direct marketing potential is seemingly limitless.

Ace Marketing & Promotions has already completed successful marketing campaigns for several major entities, such as the Canada Tourism Commission, BBC, CW, and Turner Classic Movies (TCM).  Shows and movies have included The Bourne Conspiracy, Gossip Girl, Life is Wild, and Robin Hood.  Blue Bite’s most successful campaigns, to date, have been ones for the BBC’s Robin Hood with a positive engagement rate of over 87% and for the Canada Tourism Commission with more than 9,600 downloads over a four week period.

One of the greatest things about this technology is that we’ve only begun to see the potential of it. The number of possible venues would seem to be almost unlimited. Shopping malls, movie theatres, airports, museums, subways, and sporting events are just a few of the target locations that are perfectly poised to fully utilize the capabilities of the Blue Bite proximity marketing system. Blue Bite also has the ability to track shoppers, let’s say in a mall, and can even analyze their shopping behavior!

Ace Marketing & Promotions has established, through testing and a number of successful marketing campaigns, themselves as a serious competitor in the race for advertising audiences.  Their Blue Bite proximity marketing technology has opened the door to an incredibly unique, and relatively unknown, method of reaching out to consumers. The new face of advertising is no longer a reference to the next hot model or pretty face, but to the changing appearance of an industry that has largely remained the same since the inception of the television. No longer can agencies rest on their traditional techniques and simply create a jingle and a catchy slogan. The new face of advertising is here and it is Ace Marketing & Promotion’s Blue Bite proximity marketing technology.

Looking at the Value of Direct TV

DirecTV’s satellite television service boasts some of the greatest value available for television globally. DirecTV’s service offers such great deals as free start up, a free home installation, and free satellite equipment. This free equipment includes such necessities as the satellite dish and a Hughes brand satellite receiver. The free equipment also includes such luxuries as a TiVo unit and DVR. DirecTV also offers programming packages that start at monthly rates comparable to what you are paying now with cable.

Since the TiVo and DVR units you get, when you sign up with DirecTV, temporarily record just about everything as it airs, other possibilities also open up. For one, unlike a VCR where you have to scramble to set the timer to record your favorite program and hope you set it to p.m., with the DVR and TiVo you can actually just find the program that is stored temporarily, hours later, and save that recorded program. Viola, your program is saved and ready to watch over and over whenever you want. If you don’t want to waste space on your DVR with a program you will never watch again, you don’t have to. Instead of saving the already temporarily recorded program just rewind television and watch it then and there. Or if you are going to watch it later, just save the program, watch it later, and delete it, simple as that. When you simply compare the space a DVR takes up vs. a VCR you will see one major advantage. Most specifically referring to the VHS tapes used to record programs with a VCR. Those VHS tapes fill up bookshelves and boxes incredibly fast with their large cumbersome size and pretty ugly look. The DVR however, takes up no additional space than the unit itself as the unit requires no tapes but records all on a digital hard drive. Guess it is time to say goodbye to the old fashioned and almost totally obsolete VCR, and say hello to TiVo and the DVR from DirecTV!

DirecTV is also known for their parental controls and fantastic customer service. The graphic content found on many television channels has become a growing problem for television viewing families with young children world wide. It has become increasingly difficult for parents to see all of the programs that their children watch while they are watching them. DirecTV has taken this carefully into consideration while designing their parental controls feature. With parental controls from DirecTV, the parent will be able to find and block the channels that are known for the graphic content. If a channel only shows graphic material late at night, the parent can set the parental controls to simply block the channel during those times of the day. This way, any programs of merit that are shown during the daytime will not be missed. DirecTV’s parental controls feature is also password protected. With the password protection, you will not have to worry about your child changing the parental control settings when you are not around and changing them back before you get home.

Directv Offers the Greatest Value in Satellite Television

David Johnson asked:

If you are still watching cable television than you need to take a long look at your other options. Cable television has become as a whole, totally obsolete. There is no longer any benefits of cable television that you can not find in a satellite provider like DirecTV.

Many satellite companies have tried to take after the generally superior set up of the DirecTV satellite TV system, always falling short of DirecTV‘s efficiency and value. DirecTV has been considered the greatest provider of customer satisfaction in satellite TV for six years and going strong. With DirecTV you can be sure to get all of the options you would ever want and much more than you could possibly imagine.

DirecTV offers many different options in a very large variety of programming packages. Back in the day only wealthy families could afford to own their very own satellite dish. Now a days with DirecTV you will not only get a great programming package at a price you can easily afford, you will also get the satellite dish totally free! In addition to getting the actual satellite dish completely free of charge, you will also get a genuine Hughes brand television set top receiver. Hughes has a great reputation for the consistent functionality of their products and their products are now exclusively available through DirecTV. If you are interested in the new technology of TiVo and the Digital Video Recorder, you will be very happy to find out that DirecTV actually offers a free TiVo and Digital Video Recorder unit with the purchase of a programming package. On top of the free satellite dish, the free Hughes brand television top receiver, the free TiVo unit, and the free DVR (the Digital Video Recorder) unit, you will also get the installation of all of these devices totally free as well! Now if you think that it can not get any better, think again. DirecTV not only offers free installation of all these devices, they also offer free installation of all these devices for up to four rooms in your home! Now you can have that home theatre setting you always wanted, in your bedroom, in your living room, in your sons room, and in the basement or garage. Think about seeing Monday night football in HD TV (High Definition TV) in a basement setting where you can have all your friends over without bugging your wife!

If you do not know a whole a lot about Hi Def TV you really need to check it out. Most people seem to have the impression that TV quality has reached it’s peak with new high quality big screen TV sets. It is easy to assume this if you have never experienced the insanely crystal clear quality of Hi Def TV. The only word you need to describe the clarity of HD TV is “Incredible”. If you need an image to compare it to in your mind than go to your front door, open it up, and look outside. The clarity you see through your front door is basically what you are going to see on the HD TV. It is certainly worth a look, you will not be disappointed.

It will replace a TIVO we have had for probably 6 years, and I don’t like the way the new Direct TV TIVO’s are set up. I am feeling really sorry for myself right now!!!
